“The Count” Danny Koker's Car Collection (2024)

21. 1995 Dodge Viper

Danny Koker has a lot of hidden monsters in his garage but if we were to rank them then his 1995 Hennessey RT/10 Viper would certainly claim a position in the top 10. While growing up in Detroit, Koker saw a bright red Dodge Copperhead (Viper) roadster driving on the streets and from that moment he wanted the same car. The reason why he got the 1995 was because it was the last year for the first-generation Viper that came with a side pipe.

Like most of his cars, this 1995 Viper has also been through several modifications. Several elements on the front end from the 1997 model. As far as the engine and other mechanical changes are concerned, they have been taken care of by Hennessey Performance Engineering. Furthermore, Koker commissioned HRE wheels to make custom 3-piece polished wheels that are wrapped with Micheline Pilot Sport tires.

20. 1974 Stutz Blackhawk

According to Danny Koker, the 1974 Stutz Blackhawk is “a statement maker” packed with finer details. We don’t believe any exaggeration in this since Elvis Presley was the first person to buy the first production model of the Stutz Blackhawk. Other notable names who bought the similar car include Billy Joel, Paul McCartney, Frank Sinatra, Steve Martin, and others.

The Blackhawk came with a handcrafted steel body right from Italy. However, what amazes Danny more is the gold-plated accents in the cabin. One of the other aspects that really impressed The Count is that despite being a heavy all-steel-built car, the 1974 Stutz Blackhawk can do 0-60 in 8.4 seconds.

19. 1932 Ford 5 Window Chop Top Coupe

We all know Danny loves his cars and he has some special kind words for his 1932 Ford 5 Window Chop Top Coupe. He finds it “really cool” and what makes it really cool is that it has an original 1932 Ford frame. Furthermore, he highly recommends if someone is a hot rod enthusiast or a car collector, their car collection must include this 1932 Ford 5 Window model.

Danny got his hands on the 1932 Ford in late 2006 or 2007 and the main reason he built it was “personal enjoyment” since he loves the 1932 Ford and the Roadster model is the prime example of how much he enjoys these models that are the blast to drive. During his review of the car, the owner of Counts Kustoms also talked about the yellow 1932 Ford Coupe model from the 1973 movie, American Graffiti.

18. 1991 Caprice 9C1 Cop Car

Danny Koker’s car collection is quite diverse. From muscle cars to hot rods, you would find every variety here. Moreover, in his massive garage lies a “not a big money, not high valuable car” which happens to be a “whole lotta fun”, according to Koker. He has owned the car for around 25 years. Danny acquired the car directly out of its service from the Police department auction. However, he can’t remember why he bought it. Although he does say he is glad that he has bought it.

Danny made money with the 1991 Caprice by renting it out for various gigs. However, he gave up cashing in after seeing the condition of the car when it came out from a music video shoot. Now he has refused to rent any of his cars. Meanwhile, it is hard to believe that Danny has not touched his LT1 engine.

17. 1955 Chevy Gasser

The 1955 Chevy is one of the most loved cars for Danny Koker. After all, his mom used to have a similar-looking Chevy which was later sold. Danny’s father found the one that his wife had and together with Danny duo restored the car and gifted her. When these events conspired, Danny ended up falling in love with the 1955 Chevy. He ended up buying a model and kept it in the same condition and later did what he was best at. CUSTOMIZE is to make the 1955 Chevy Gasser form it is today.

He took the 1955 Chevy Gasser to the 2018 SEMA show while he was partnering with Matrix Paints. That being said, Danny and his team have ripped apart every fiber of this Chevy. The entire body was beefed up and a solid axle front end was given to it to make it an insane straight-line drag car.

16. 2008 Cadillac STS-V

Danny is often accused of discriminating against new and modern cars. However, he gets to prove his critics wrong because his personal car stable likes a performance machine called the STS-V. Danny bought the car because he claims, “he is a big guy with 6’ 2’’ height”. Additionally, he likes to do business dinners. Hence, it was necessary for him to have a car that could at least fit well-built adults comfortably.

Koker likes a little bit of substance with his “Cadillacs”. The car came with factory specs but when did Danny leave his cars alone? He sent the STS-V to a California tuning company called D3 for customization. After changing the intake system, and the exhaust system, and computer reprogramming them, the car was ready to put in 581 horsepower. It is 112 horsepower more than the factory numbers. That being said, what Danny has not changed is the color and body of the Cadillac that remains in factory condition.

15. 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass

The 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass remains one of the many builts that Danny is super proud of. He and his team did a “wicked” paint job as Danny likes to call it. It was done in order to give the car that “Hurst/Olds” vibe. Under the Count Kustoms team decided to keep the same 350 cu-in engine that was available with the 1972 Cutlass in those days. Furthermore, inside the cabin, there are 6-way power seats.

On the show, Danny couldn’t sell the car. He wanted around $45,000 and the minimum he could go was $40,000. However, the deal couldn’t get through even though he was offered $38,000. He closed off by saying that he would find the right buyer for the car and in the meantime, he would rather enjoy this lovely beauty.

14. 1973 boat-tail Riviera

In Season 4, Episode 6 titled 'King and the Count', Danny picked up a 1973 Boattail for a special car show he was organizing. He bought the car with its original 455 cu-in engine from the owner for $5,000. That being said, after Count Kustom’s team was done overhauling the car, it was showcased in multiple events including the 2015 SEMA. Furthermore, a lot of products used on the car have been from Danny and Count Kustonm’s partners like Matrix Paint, Valspar, and others.

The rear end of the car has been customized to look like a 1963 Split Window Corvette. One of the main highlights of the car is its interior which features a bespoke waterfall-style center console, crushed velvet upholstery, and custom LED lighting that is spread throughout the cabin.

13. Cadillac Hearse Limo

One of the major attractions at Count's Kustoms Museum in Los Angeles, California is Danny Koker’s Cadillac Hearse Limo. The car has been decked out as a limousine. When he was a kid, he would go around the town in the Hearse with his relatives and have a fun night out.

12. 1981 Corvette

Danny has done a series titled, “Count's Finer Details” on YouTube in which he has given us some juicy details about some of his favorite cars, and the 1981 C3 Corvette is one of them. Koker claims that this Corvette is his personal favorite and very special to him. When he first moved to LA in 1988, he needed a daily driver. Hence, Danny went to a local dealer auction for the 1981 Corvette. It was a two-tone car with silver and black combo exterior paint.

Danny is a Corvette guy as much as he is a Cadillac fanatic. That being said, regarding his Corvette, he has shared some interesting points. According to Koker, the 81’ Corvette was just a car that was overweight and underpowered. He decided to make the car special by putting it on a diet. Danny and hisCKount Kustoms team removed big leaf springs and other heavy parts and replaced them with a much lighter adjustable suspension system. Furthermore, The Count also replaced the old 350 cu-in engine with a better and more potent 383 cu-in 3 stroker engine.

11. 1962 Kellison J6

“The Count” Danny Koker's Car Collection (1)

“What is this?”

One of the most unusual yet interesting cars in Danny Koker’s garage, the 1962 Kellison is a faster Corvette in disguise. Designed and made by Jim Kellison through his company Kellison Auto Engineering, it is one of the early fiberglass kit cars and the J6 was particularly made for speed. The particular Kellison in Danny’s car collection has a body of 1962 Kellison fitted to a much newer 1968 Chevrolet Corvette chassis, he explained in one of Count Kustoms' episodes.

If we talk about the modifications, the body exterior fiberglass is enhanced with Mercedes SLR-style side vents, and a custom hood scoop to fit the Borla fuel-injection system. Danny and his team also souped up the mechanicals of the car with a new custom suspension, bigger brakes, and a modern LS3 engine that is pushing 530 hp with a custom Borla exhaust. Danny also took the car to the SEMA motor show at Borla’s booth since it used parts from the manufacturer.

10. 1971 Cadillac Eldorado Superfly

“The Count” Danny Koker's Car Collection (2)

“So fine, that she should be illegal”

The Cadillac Eldorado Superfly is one of the coolest cars that Danny fell in love with when he was just a kid in Detroit on Woodwork Avenue and for several years he wanted to own one. Also known as the Pimpmobile, Danny and his team did a lot of work to make his dream a reality. On the exterior, they stripped all the old paint out to the bare metal and gave it a freshly beautiful golden flaked-out paint job.

Danny got so excited while revealing the car that he made everyone dressed in the 70s style and also went for the ride in Vegas.

9. 1977 Dodge Tradesman Van

“The Count” Danny Koker's Car Collection (3)

One of the favorites from “The Counts” garage, this red vampire-inspired 1977 Dodge Tradesman Van is hands down one of the coolest things you can find in Vegas. He made it to challenge one of his bandmates Zito’s Similar Dodge Van, to which he said that his van clowns my van so he does not park beside it.
