Hey everyone!
I seem to have scored a big one (in my eyes anyways) for $300, It is EXACTLY this: ASUS TUF Gaming A15 TUF506QE-MS74 15.6"
My Specs:
AMD Ryzen 7 5800H 3.0GHz Processor
NVIDIA GeForce 3050 Ti 4GB GDDR6
16GB DDR4-3200 RAM
Microsoft Windows 10 Home
10/100/1000 Network
2x2 Wireless LAN Wifi 6 (802.11ax)+Bluetooth 5.1
15.6" Full HD Anti-Glare IPS 144Hz Display
the only problem is the screen doesn't work but is not cracked, scratched or anything like that and i have tried my other LCD screens i have and still cannot get it to work..
I am actually using it right now as i type this message (with an external monitor of course..).
I have taken it COMPLETELY apart and re-assembled it correctly but have found nothing wrong with the LCD cable at all.. i was just wondering if anyone else is having this monster of a problem??
Other than the screen it works great!
I just don't want to have to lug around this and an external monitor..
It says in the pic that my monitor is running off the APU (i think) and NOT the GPU (which i guess it should???)
I don't know and before i take it to have it looked at by a tech i wanted to answer here and save some money i don't really have...
Any help is much appreciated!!!!
Stay safe all and i hope to hear from you!

One think is to remember if you don't disable the internal battery before unplugging the screen you can blow a fuse or the backlight of the display.
Is the display just black because than the circuit board for the display can be busted, and if you do not want to take the screen apart not to ruin the laptop and it's plastic HWinfo can actually tell you the model name of the screen and you can look it up on panelook.com to get the specs.
HWInfo: https://www.hwinfo.com/
Panelook.com: https://www.panelook.com/
You can be lucky it's just the display able that's gone bad and not the display itself, but lately on reddit I seen a lot of Asus laptop users having screen and gpu issues.

Your welcome, sad to see hwinfo can't show any details so is the display cable is cheap you could try a new one of eBay/Aliexpress.
I need a new screen for my own laptop and the original Lenovo part numbers are sadly a bust tired one last month so I have to get the specific Innolux N140HCG-GQ2 display I want off Aliexpress from a known good seller.

At work, if I was doing this for a customer I would think time but since this is for yourself I would do this:
1. Get the connector on the motherboard checked, I have a guy at my workplace that can do this for me.
2. If I couldn't get the connector on the motherboard checked I would inspect it physically and if it looks fine reconnect the display cable on the motherboard and screen.
3. If it kept being funky I would replace it, since I am in the EU I would get the replacement part properly from EET Group.
4. If the fresh display cable didn't work and the screen still shows up the circuit to give light to the display part could be damaged.
5. I would find a better display than the original Panda LM156LF2F03 display honestly for me the 42% NTSC color space looks bad.
Panda LM156LF2F03 specs: https://www.panelook.com/LM156LF2F03_Panda_15.6_LCM_overview_49180.html
You can use the advanced search on panelook to finde other panels that might fit just make sure the size fits and the connect port is in the correct area.
For your device you already have the part numbers for the display cable and display so you don't need to ask someone just Ebay or Aliexpress.
At heart I learned to be a Lenovo person, Lenovo do spare parts better than most companies because they list all the parts, even how it's built-as when you type in the serial number of the laptop.
But listening the part numbers doesn't always mean the part is available or isn't currently replaced by something better or worse.

usually the ribbon cable or the connector, sometimes the connector is dirty
you need to check the first, and i agree you need to reset the bios too coz sometimes asus act weird and solved by resetting it

Thanks guys for all the help but I think it may be the screen, funny thing is when completely off it says AMD BURNED into the screen upon further inspection lol..
Didn’t notice this before.
But what’s weird is it would still detect so I guess I will just get a new screen and try that and install it myself.. :/
I mean I know how to do it no problem it’s just a money matter now, because I don’t know if it’s the 40 US dollar cable connector I found or the screen..
On a brighter note, I have a semi-working beast of a machine.. which still makes me happy!
thank you all once again!
I will try and post updates too.
stay safe everyone!

If you can see the panel data in hwinfo, it likely means you have a busted backlight. You can verify it by putting a flashlight to the screen while using the computer, you should see some activity.
If you're lucky the backlight itself is damaged and a new panel will fix the problem. If you're unlucky the backlight power supply is the problem, and it's located on the motherboard in modern laptops - which makes repair much harder/more costly.
