BURGL Chip Locations - Grounded Guide - IGN (2024)

BURGL Chips are chips containing blueprints that can be found throughout the yard. To get some of them, you'll need to play the main storyline. This IGN guide will detail everything you'll need to know about getting all 10 BURGL Chips, with information on where they are and how to get them.

Red Anthill BURG.L Chip

The Red Anthill BURG.L Chip can be found just north of the first Field Station you discover early in-game. Below is a picture of where you'll need to go.

We recommend you wear a full set of Red Ant armor to avoid fighting the ants.

When you enter the hill, follow the path down. Eventually, you'll reach a room with Slime Mold Stalk growing from the roof and a hole right underneath it. To get the Chip, you'll need to jump through the hole.

As soon as you jump through, turn around, and you'll see a large pile of Apple Bits and an Ice Cap Mint. You'll find the Chip behind them, both resting against the wall.

Hedge Super Chip

The Hedge Super Chip can be found in the Hedge Lab, as shown in the picture below.

You'll need to go to the Door System Override computer, and when you're there, go to the door to your right.

The Hedge Super Chip will be in the next room on a desk.

Pond Super Chip

The Pond Super Chip can be found inside the Pond Dome Lab, as shown in the picture below.

As soon as you get to the dome lab, walk to the computer in the center, and you'll see the Super Chip on the desk.

Sunken Outpost BURG.L Chip

To get the Sunken Outpost BURG.L Chip, you'll want to go to the Pond Lab entrance, as shown in the picture below.

When you get there, jump into the water and swim past the buildings in the picture below.

You'll then see a small cave covered with Algae that you'll need to swim inside on the right-hand side.

Follow the path until you see the tubes. There'll be a key touching some roots that you'll need to pick up.

Now that you have the key, you'll need to swim out of the tunnel and towards the fans that pushed you towards the pond entrance. When you get to the second fan, swim to the bottom, and you'll see a chest you'll need to open with the key you just got.

The Chip will be in the center of the chest once you open it.

Haze Super Chip

To get the Haze Super Chip, you'll need to visit the Haze Lab, as shown in the picture below.

Walking down the main path, you'll find the Chip on a table when you get inside. You'll then see a door on your right that'll you want to open.

After opening the door, follow the red wire. It'll lead you to a room with an Infected Ladybug inside.

Once the bug is killed, use the Biometric Scanner to open the door, and you'll find the Chip on a desk when you reach the end of the room.

Picnic BURG.L Chip

To get the Picnic BURG.L Chip, you'll need to first go to the Exposed Pipe south of the Picnic Table. As shown in the picture below.

When you get in the Pipes, you'll need to make a right and see a hole you can swim further down into.

You'll then run into roots that you'll need to destroy, and after breaking them, you'll be able to get the Minotaur Maze Key.

Now that you have the key, you'll need to go to the DnD castle on the Picnic Table.

When you get inside the castle, you'll want to make a left right away, follow the path all the way down and make a right. You'll then see a statue of a monster and a doorway to your right. You'll want to enter the door on your right.

Once you've entered the door, go straight and go through the door straight ahead past the statue. You'll see a D20 dice and a chest in the room when you've gone through the door.

You'll need to open the chest with the key you got earlier, and when it's open, you'll find the Picnic BURG.L Chip inside.

Black Ant Super Chip

The Black Ant Super Chip can be found in the Black Anthill Descent, as shown in the picture below.

When you get to the Black Anthill, you'll need to defeat the Assistant Manager and get the Keycard.

Now that you have the key, you'll need to unlock the door above the boss fight. Once you open it, you'll see the Chip on a desk straight ahead.

Sandbox BURG.L Chip

To get the Sandbox BURG.L Chip, you'll need to visit the Sandbox lab, as shown in the picture below.

It's important to mention to enter the lab. You'll need the Assistant Manager Keycard.

Once the doors open, go inside, and you'll find the Chip in the center of the desk.

Woodpile BURG.L Chip

To get the Woodpile BURG.L Chip, you'll need to visit the Termite Den in the northern part of the yard. As shown in the picture below.

When you arrive at the den, you'll want to follow the path and be taken to an opening with a Bike in front of you.

If you turn around, you'll see another hole in the den. You'll need to enter through that hole. You can enter by either jumping into the hole or building to it.

Now that you're in, follow the main path forward, and you'll reach an open room.

Continue down the main path, and enter the room covered with Splinters.

But be careful because the Termite King will be waiting for you in the same room, so be prepared for a fight. As soon as you enter the next main room, the Chip will be on the right side next to a wood log.

Stump Lab BURG.L Chip

To get the Stump Lab BURG.L Chip, you'll need to get to the Stumb Lab. Below is a picture of where the lab entrance is located.

Once you go into the lab, the room will be sideways. The Chip will be in the first room to your left as soon as that happens. You'll have to unlock the door from the terminal located in the other room across from you to get to it.
