He's slashing .271/.313/.459 with 42 RBI, 44 runs scored, 21 doubles and two stolen bases across 81 contests.

Orioles' Adley Rutschman: Slugs 16th homer

Rutschman went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run and a walk in a loss to the Athletics on Saturday.
Rutschman's three-run blast in the seventh inning didn't have much of an impact on the outcome since Oakland still led 17-4 at that point, but it may have been a momentum-shifter personally after he had collected just one hit over his previous 19 at-bats. The long ball also moved him into second place for homers among MLB catchers with 16 on the campaign. Only Oakland's Shea Langeliers -- who hit his 17th homer in the same contest Saturday -- has more home runs among big-league backstops.

Orioles' Cade Povich: Obliterated by Oakland

Povich (1-3) took the loss against the Athletics on Saturday, allowing eight runs on five hits and three walks while striking out one batter over one-plus inning.
Povich got another turn in the rotation after pitching to an acceptable 4.05 ERA despite a 17:10 K:BB over his first five big-league starts, but he was overwhelmed by the league's third-lowest-scoring team. Oakland rocked the southpaw for three runs on a pair of walks and a Brent Rooker three-run homer before Povich recorded his first out. Things got worse for Povich in the second frame, as he allowed five straight baserunners to reach -- and yielded another three-run blast -- before mercifully being pulled having failed to retire a batter in the inning. Povich's ERA shot up to 6.51 as a result of the disastrous outing. If he remains in the rotation, his next turn is tentatively lined up to be a tough matchup against the Yankees.

Willems was removed Saturday from High-A Aberdeen's game against Greensboro due to a left hamstring injury, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
Willems was lifted from the game in the seventh inning after sustaining the hamstring injury. Prior to being removed, Willems went 0-for-2 with a sacrifice fly. The 21-year-old has 12 home runs in 69 games at Aberdeen this season.
